Family events and workshops are designed for children and adults to participate in together. Events are free to members unless noted. $3 for nonmembers.
Children’s Day at Woodmere
Whirl! Pinwheel Project
Sunday, October 3, 2-3pm
Hey kids, come make colorful whirling pinwheels to put in your garden or take to
the beach.
It’s All about Motion
Sunday, November 7, 2-3pm
Make horses flip; make people run. Bring your drawings to life by illustrating your
own animated flipbook.
Kids Care Family Day
Sunday, November 14, 2-4pm
Share a Sunday with your grandparents. Join us as we celebrate the wonderful
works of art made by children which will be given as gifts to seniors around the
region at holiday time. Kids Care is a collaboration between Woodmere Art
Museum, Philadelphia Senior Center, and WXPN’s Kids Corner.

Stories in Art
Join in the fun as we use storytelling to introduce children to works of art. Led by
museum educators, each program includes reading a children’s book, looking at one
work of art in the galleries, and completing a simple hands-on activity. This program
is geared for children ages five to eight.
