Woodmere’s Edward M. David Library comprises 2,000 volumes on art techniques,
art history and artists. Archival material on local and regional artists
is available and there is a special section for young people.

Woodmere offers slides free-of-charge to area educators for the purpose
of research or educational slide presentations. As well as slides of works
from Woodmere’s permanent collection, the Registry’s slides cover 1000 years
of painting, sculpture, printmaking and the decorative arts. Pre-packaged
slide sets are available on
self-portraiture, portraiture, multi-cultural masks and artifacts, African-American
and women artists, and more.
